Easy to use for print and cut applications, the GraphtecFC9000-140 Cutting Plotter features a new and improved Advanced Registration Mark Sensing (ARMS 8.0) system. ARMS is a registration mark sensor for print and cut jobs , which reads registration marks and accurately contour cuts designs that are output from any printer. A new Data Link Barcode System generates barcodes as part of the design, which enables hands free operation. Designs are then read by the FC9000-140, which automatically loads cutting information and processes print and cut jobs. A second USB port enables jobs to be run from a USB stick, without a PC. The LED keypad on the front of the Cutting Plotter has 8 recallable tool conditions, ideal for storing cut settings for the most commonly used media, and saving time when changing the media type. A fast access key allows quick switching between users. One cutter can be shared by multiple users of for multiple purposes.

The Graphtec FC9000-140 is versatile, ideal for a wide variety of cutting applications including thinner adhesive back high performance vinyl, delicate window tint films to thicker media including heat transfer graphics for garments and rhinestone patterns for apparel and point of purchase and even sand blast rubber resist and diamond grade reflective, a feature normally reserved for expensive flat bed cutters. A cross cut function automatically sheets your jobs for convenience. Perforated cutting is available for creating pop out decals with the backing still attached for easy distribution.

The Graphtec FC9000-140 Cutting Plotter delivers high quality results every time and features a rugged “workhorse” design. The ARMS system ensures accurate cutting on registration lines. When cutting thicker materials or intricate designs on thinner medias, the FC9000-140 features a Tangential Emulation Mode ensures clean and accurate corners . Improved tracking features ensures the media is fed straight including the media stocker which helps stabilize the feeding of the media and the adjustable push rollers which prevent media floating. Stock media rollers with stoppers contribute to keeping the roll of media straight. To prevent skew of long-length cutting, the auto-panelling function automatically splits long-length jobs into smaller pages that are then cut sequentially. It shortens feed length of the media and enables a more stable cut through the machine. This is the ideal solution when cutting a job that is potentially longer than the guaranteed long-length tracking capabilities of the FC9000.

The Graphtec FC9000-140 Cutting Plotter has a maximum cutting speed of 1485mm per second (58.5 inches per second), a maximum acceleration of 13.9m/s², and up to 4g’s of acceleration . The Graphtec FC9000-140 Cutting Plotter supports various cutting patterns such as perforation cut, die-cutting and kiss cutting and has a built-in cross cutter. The minimum cutting width is 50mm and the maximum cutting width 1400mm. The maximum cutting force is 5.88N(600gf) and the FC9000 Series has a media tracking distance of 15m standard. The minimum character size is approximately 3mm and the mechanical resolution is 0.005mm. The blade is made of supersteel, and the media maximum thickness is up to 0.25mm. The FC9000-140 has 2MB of buffer memory and is compatible with Windows 10/8.1/7 and Mac OS X 10.6∼10.11. The FC9000-140 includes a networking Ethernet Port and a USB 2.0 Port.

The Graphtec FC9000 Series Cutting Plotters feature a Data Link function which is a barcode data management for continuous cutting. Barcode data management allows for cutting different data sequentially by detecting the “start mark” of the new type of barcode. By reading the Graphtec original Barcode, the Graphtec FC9000-140 automatically detects its linked data from PC or USB flash memory. The USB memory format supports FAT32.

The Graphtec FC9000 Series Cutting Plotters include Cutting Master 4 software, a Graphtec plug-in software for Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. Cutting Master 4 is easy to use, and enables the best performance from the FC9000 Series. It sends cutting data to the FC9000 Series Cutting Plotter and includes a variety of functions including; preview, registration mark creation, tool conditions, cut job settings and more. Segment Area Compensation (XY) is available, allowing for a middle mark on both the X axis and Y axis alignment. Trim and crop marks for Adobe Illustrator are available with Cutting Master 4.

The Graphtec FC9000 Series Cutting Plotters include Graphtec Pro Studio (Windows) software, an easy to use graphic design software for creating original designs. Graphtec Studio Pro has a variety of enhanced creating and editing functions and configures the cutting conditions and other settings on the FC9000 Cutting Plotter. Create designs using auto-shapes, various line types and shading. Edit text by using features such as rotate, mirror, fit to shape and more. Auto-trace is also available using various image formats including bmp, tiff, jpeg, gif and more . EPS, DFX, other raster format files, Ai, CMX and PDF file formats are supported and graphics created with other popular design software can be imported into Graphtec Pro Studio. Graphtec Pro Studio can layer, output by colour, and insert a weeding line. For Macintosh compatibility, Graphtec Studio software is available.
