The Contex MFP Repro is designed to fit the same space as your printer for convenient collaboration and use with existing printers for direct scan-to-print capabilities. The Contex MFP Repro is available in three configurations: IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro or the IQ Quattro 44 MFP Repro for 36 inch or 44 inch scanning sizes. There is a choice of either a low or high height adjustable stand.

The IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro features 36 inch width scanning capability and delivers clean, sharp image quality of technical documents, sketches, maps, and oversized documents. Built to withstand medium volume use on a daily basis, the Context IQ Quattro 36 Repro solutions have a sleek and lightweight design and features multi-site Gigabit network compatibility and hi-speed Ethernet and scans accurate images with 1200 dpi and saves on file space with intelligent 8-bit indexed colour capture, making it ideal for archiving many types of files.

The Contex IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro solution includes either a low stand with paper catcher for side by side operation or a high stand for a slim profile and easy moving and storing; and Nextimage Repro software. The High Stand versions for the Contex IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro solution features the smallest footprint solution and supports printer heights from 995 to 1195 mm in 25mm increments (39.2 to 47 inches in about 1 inch increments. The High Stand is designed to fit the Canon iPF 600/700/900 Series, the Epson SC-T Series, and the HP T Series, Z-Series and 500/800 Series, The Low Stand version for the Contex IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro solution feature side-by-side scanning and printing with a working height of 834, 859, and 884 mm (32.8, 33.8, 34.8 inches). Designed to fit the Epson Stylus Pro, Mutoh, Oce and some HP printers, here is a complete compatibility list.

Both High and Low Stand versions feature right or left side touch-screen mounting, ideal for the 21.5 inch Multi Touch Widescreen with full HD TFT LCD included with the Contex IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro solution. The Multi Touch Widescreen features sharp 1920 x 1080 dpi resolution.

The Contex IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro solution features easy handling, including face-up scanning, All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) professional sheet-feed and Programmable One-Touch buttons. All-Wheel-Drive delivers perfect document grip, and Programmable One-Touch buttons permit common tasks to be assigned to three simple buttons. Magnetic document guides support long documents and make precise document loading easier. Detachable return guides for easy document handling return documents to the user by rewinding through the scanner. The Contex IQ Quattro 36 Repro solution is compatible with rainforest365, a Web App, available as a free download from the Apple App Store. Rainforest365 sends documents securely to your preferred destinations and doesn’t require a PC. Instead, your smartphone or tablet controls the process. Simply load the document, scan the QR code, and send the document directly to the desired destination. Deliver images by email, directly into your DropBox and print to any HP eprint-enabled printers.

The Contex IQ Quattro 36 MFP Repro solution includes leading edge software, Nextimage Repro, and network connectivity that fits existing tools and business processes. Nextimage Repro is a full featured scanning/copying software including built-in printer drivers and full colour controls along with multipage (PDF, PDF/A and TIF), full image quality controls, and accounting tools. Nextimage Repro can be installed on as many PC’s as you like, and is designed for Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista. Contex applications create industry standard raster file formats that can be used with any CAD or GIS application, including AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcGIS, and all other CAD, GIS, image editing and storage applications.

SPECIFICATIONS

The Contex IQ Quattro 36 and 44 MFP Repro feature Contex CleanScan technology and an optical resolution of 1200 dpi and maximum resolution of 9600 dpi. The Contex IQ Quattro MFP solutions scan colour documents at 200 dpi in 2 seconds per inch, and grayscale, monochrome documents at 200 dpi in 14 seconds per inch. All Contex MFP scanners can accept a maximum media thickness of up to 0.08 inch/2mm.

Nextimage Repro software included with all Contex MFP Repro solutions features easy creation of TIF, JPG, PDF and PDF/A files and integration with cloud destinations including Google Drive, Box.com, DropBox, email, HP ePrint, Microsoft Sky Drive and more. Nextimage Repro software features Automatic Image Quality for instant clean-up and alignment and comes with an integrated image viewer and an enable automatic file naming. The software is available in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Russian and Polish. Nextimage Twain is also included, which is a 64-bit TWAIN application driver for use with EDM and other imaging software, along with Widesystem drivers.

Optional items required for the Contex MFP Repro Solutions are a PC and a Large Format Printer. Maximum size and weight for the PC is 490 x 400 x 107mm and 12kg (19.3 x 15.7 x 4.21 inches, 26 lbs). The recommended PC is a “slimline” desktop PC, 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo or faster, 2GB RAM.

Contex IQ Quattro 2490, 3600 and 4400 large format scanners are a fourth generation Contex CIS technology using a number of advanced Contex proprietary technologies to achieve superb image quality and reliability. Contex IQ technology includes, CleanScan CIS technology combined with CFR, SIGMA and xDTR to ensure the highest quality CIS scanners in the market. Contex CleanScan CIS technology is based on custom CIS modules with dual-sided LED light and Dual Diffusion, which suppress shadows and unwanted backgrounds. The patented Contex Colour Fringe Removal (CFR) technology is an advanced filtering technology, producing superior image quality with excellent lines. Signal Intensity Matching (SIGMA) is a Contex patented technology that minimises sensor differences live during a scan, to adjust for differences in sensor heating. xDTR improves overall productivity by increasing the data transfer speed of the USB interface, so more image data can be sent to the PC faster. This means a larger document (and more documents) can be scanned at higher resolutions without waiting for data transfer to complete. With xDTR, the IQ Quattro can capture an A1 or D-size colour document in the same time or less than an A” or C-size document with a CIS scanner without xDTR. When batch scanning or scanning at 400 dpi or more, the difference is even greater.
