SPECIFICATIONS

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-4200 MFP Z36 includes a 36 inch/914mm scanner with SingleSensor scan technology delivering up to 1200 dpi.  Scan speeds are as follows: 13 ips (inches per second) for 8-bit grayscale and monochrome scanning at 200 dpi, 3 ips for scan to PC and 6 ips for copy with 24-bit colour at 200 dpi . The minimum scan width is 6 inches/150mm and the maximum scan width is 38 inches/965mm.  The maximum scan length is 8 meters for JPEG/PDF and 15.2 meters for TIFF.   The scanner has a USB interface, and has a flat paper path with a rear exit and document handling is face up.  The scanner controls include and LED status, Stop, Advance, and Rewind, and includes Smartworks MFP v6.  The scanner accepts documents from 0.07 0 1.0 mm thick. and includes two paper edge guides, 3 document return guides and a calibration target. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-4200 MFP Z36 quickly scans large documents in high definition.  A system controller with a large 15.6″touch screen monitor allows image editing features such as deskew and cropping to be performed on the preview screen.

Direct printing from USB memory, PDF and JPEG files can be quickly and easily printed without the use of a PC or computer. A compact, slim-line design with a smart media handling system, the TX-4200 MFP Z36 features an easy front-loading paper system, front access ink tank system, and front output enabling printing and changing paper and ink easily even when the printer is installed in a tight space. Smart media handling automatically feeds and adjusts the paper, ready to print and automatically identifies the media type and size, standard or custom and estimates remaining paper on the roll. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-4200 MFP Z36 features the LUCIA TD 5-colour pigment ink system which produces the sharpest, thinnest lines. Designed specifically for CAD, GIS, and Poster applications, a minimum line width of 0.02mm can be achieved with a range accuracy of +/- 0.01%. The LUCIA TD Ink system features a newly formulated MBK, which features high surface tension, eliminating feathering and generating crisp, sharp lines. Drawings can be precisely reproduced even on uncoated papers. LUCIA TD inks also create weather resistant prints, enabling outdoor viewing and easy handling of drawings. Enhanced reactivity between the LUCIA TD pigments and media components means pigments stays close on the media surface, allowing colours to be vivid, even on plain paper.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-4200 MFP Z36 accepts roll and cut media with a thickness range of 0.07 to 0.8mm. The minimum print length is 203.2mm for cut sheet, 101.6mm for roll paper, and 200mm for clothe, canvas, tracing paper and translucent matte film media.   The maximum print length is 18 meters for roll paper and 1.6 meters for cut sheet  The maximum media roll diameter is 170mm. Borderless printing technology keep you more productive as there is no need for offline trimming and Auto Skew Correction enables unattended printing by automatically adjusting for any skew in orientation and feeds the paper/media correctly. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-4200 MFP Z36 includes a standard, multi-position basket which can hold a print in the standard position, and up to 20 A2 landscape sheets in the flat position.

In the basket position, the stacker accepts 1 sheet, in the folding position, the stacker accepts 20 sheets of B0/A0 portrait, CAD Drawing, or plain paper or 100 sheets of uncoated paper.  In the stacking position, the stacker accepts 100 sheets of B0/A0 landscape, CAD drawing, plain paper or uncoated paper.  Prints are automatically neatly stacked by a new mechanical system which reduces curl of the whole output and supports high volume continuous printing. An ICC card reader is for smart card authorization to control access to the printer.
