The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 delivers  impressive productivity, with remarkable prints speeds of an A1 draft prints in 17 seconds/3.3ppm in Fast Economy Mode  and A0 draft prints on plain paper in just 32 seconds. A0 Posters are printed on plain paper in just 35 seconds, or on standard in 66 seconds. The TX-3200 features faster time to first print, and faster output speeds are made possible by the innovative 5-colour print head, sequence optimization, a continuous printing mode, faster media feeding and hot swap ink tank replacement.  The internal encrypted hard disk drive in the imagePROGRAF TX-3200 has 500GB and with 128GB standard memory and 2GB of physical memory, no print job is too complex. Direct printing from USB memory, PDF and JPEG files can be quickly and easily printed without the use of a PC or computer. Advanced productivity features include a smart media handling system, with easy roll loading where the printer automatically feeds and adjusts the paper, ready to print and automatically identifies the media type and size, standard or custom. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 delivers professional image quality with up to  2400 x 1200 dpi resolution .  LUCIA TD pigment inks are water resistant and provide excellent image quality.  The ink-sensing system regularly monitors the ink ejection status.  During printing, the printer automatically maintains optimal ink placement positions for consistent quality.  Colour calibration corrects variations in printed colours due to printer differences and changes over time.  Colour reproduction is stable even with repeated printings or multiple printers. The new Magenta LUCIA TD ink provides better red reproduction and distinct layers in CAD drawings.  Specifically formulated for weather resistance, including water resistance, printed drawings can be viewed at outdoor construction and engineering sites. Thanks to superb colour reproduction even on economical uncoated paper, ink performance exceeds the needs for poster quality on both coated and uncoated paper. In addition to high quality CAD prints, the TX-3200 delivers vivid posters on plain papers and outdoor poster solutions.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 is user friendly by design.  Designed for practicality and usability, the TX-3200 fits comfortably in any environment. A compact, slim-line design with a smart media handling system, the TX-3200 features an easy front-loading paper system, front access ink tank system, and front output enabling printing and changing paper and ink easily even when the printer is installed in a tight space or flush against a wall. Smart media handling automatically feeds and adjusts the paper, ready to print and automatically identifies the media type and size, standard or custom and estimates remaining paper on the roll. The built-in multi-sensor detects paper width and type and the printer automatically goes to ready state.  Faster feeding reduces roll setting time by about 30% from previous models.  A large, bright, intuitive 4.3-inch touchscreen display gives easy access to sophisticated functions. An intelligent detection system makes media setting simple and intuitive on the printer is easy to use.

Security features such as desk encryption and restricted use of protocol helps reduce leaks of confidential data. An ICC card reader is for smart card authorization to control access to the printer.  Manage printing costs more easily with the built-in Accounting Manager which collects job logs and automatically calculates costs per job or time period and can be set up for multiple printers. An economy mode can be selected which uses less ink: ideal when printing draft documents.

The LUCIA TD ink tanks are available in 700ml, 330ml and 160ml sizes, supporting high volume continuous printing, reducing the frequency of ink replacement, reducing the cost per milliliter of ink, and reducing total cost of ownership. Hot Swap ink tanks allow ink cartridges to be replaced during printing for maximum productivity.

Printer driver flexibility for the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 addresses the needs of a diverse range of users. The TX-3200 software is available as a Download from the Web and includes an imagePROGRAF TX-Series Printer Driver and PosterArtist Lite software. Other software is available to download from the Web including a Universal Driver for network printing, a Quick Utility Toolbox, Print Plug-in for Office, and an Extended Survey Program. The TX-Series Printer driver supports HPGL/2, HP RTL, PDF (ver 1.7), and JPEG (Ver. JFIF 1.02). Design posters like a pro without any prior experience thanks to Canon’s PosterArtist Lite software. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 36″/914mm large format printer features the LUCIA TD 5-colour pigment ink system which produces the sharpest, thinnest lines. Designed specifically for CAD, GIS, and Poster applications, a minimum line width of 0.02mm can be achieved with a range accuracy of +/- 0.01%. The LUCIA TD Ink system features a newly formulated Magenta ink, providing brighter colours and sharper lines.  LUCIA TD Ink includes matte black (MBK), which features high surface tension, eliminating feathering and generating crisp, sharp lines. Drawings can be precisely reproduced even on uncoated papers. LUCIA TD inks also create weather resistant prints, enabling outdoor viewing and easy handling of drawings. Enhanced reactivity between the LUCIA TD pigments and media components means pigments stays close on the media surface, allowing colours to be vivid, even on plain paper.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 accepts roll and cut media with a thickness range of 0.07 to 0.8mm. The minimum print length is 203.2mm for cut sheet, 101.6mm for roll paper, and 200mm for clothe, canvas, tracing paper and translucent matte film media.   The maximum print length is 18 meters for roll paper and 1.6 meters for cut sheet  The maximum media roll diameter is 170mm. Borderless printing technology keep you more productive as there is no need for offline trimming and Auto Skew Correction enables unattended printing by automatically adjusting for any skew in orientation and feeds the paper/media correctly. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 includes a standard, multi-position basket which can hold a print in the standard position, and up to 20 A2 landscape sheets in the flat position.

Optional accessories for the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3200 include a number of productivity enhancing options, including an additional roll holder for dual roll feeding, meaning two different media rolls or two different sizes can be loading, improving convenience and productivity, and enabling seamless switching between two rolls, ideal for printing drawings and/or posters. The optional stacker is available, to support high-volume continuous printing, neatly stacking up to 100 sheets of stand size drawings.  The full frontal stacker supports high volume printing and can hold up to 100 sheets of A1/A2 landscape, CAD drawing, plain paper or uncoated sheets. In the basket position, the stacker accepts 1 sheet, in the folding position, the stacker accepts 20 sheets of A0/A1 portrait, CAD Drawing, or plain paper or 100 sheets of uncoated paper.  In the stacking position, the stacker accepts 100 sheets of A1/A2 landscape, CAD drawing, plain paper or uncoated paper.  Prints are automatically neatly stacked by a new mechanical system which reduces curl of the whole output and supports high volume continuous printing. An ICC card reader is for smart card authorization to control access to the printer.
