SPECIFICATIONS

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 MFP L36ei includes the MFP L36ei scanner with SingleSensor (CIS) scanning technology and multiple LED illumination for excellent line definition and accuracy. Scanning at up to 3.0 inches per second, the MFP L36ei scanner has an optical resolution of up to 600 dpi, scans documents up to 36″ wide and can scan up to 50″ or 1.27m in length. Scanned documents can be saved to PDF, JPEG, and/or TIFF file formats, either to a USB memory stick (TIFF, RBG, and Greyscale) or to a network via a PC using an Ethernet connection. The dedicated ScanApp Lei software boosts productivity with continuous scan and copy to the cloud, USB and/or PC.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 MFP L36ei features a scan accuracy of 0.2% +/-1 pixel. In scan mode, optical resolution can be set to Draft (200 dpi), Standard (400 dpi) or Best (600 dpi). In copy mode, optical resolution can be set to Draft (300/300 dpi), Standard (300/600 dpi), and Best (600/600 dpi). The maximum media thickness for scanning is 0.5mm, and the minimum media thickness for scanning is .07mm. Scan speeds are as follows:

The scan modes include Scan to USB (RGB/Greyscale/BW, TIFF), Scan to PC (RGB/Greyscale/BW, TIFF, Jpeg, PDF, TiffG4), Copy (RGB/Greyscale/BW), and Copy+Archive ((RGB/Greyscale/BW, TIFF, Jpeg, PDF, TiffG4). Cloud connectivity is achieved by a link to Canon’s Direct Print & Share. The Scanner paper path is face up, rear exit and supports forward document transport only. Document return guides are included. The maximum scan width is 36 inches (914.4mm) and the maximum document width the scanner can accept is 38 inches (965.2mm). The minimum scan width is 6.2 inches (157.5mm) and the maximum scan length is 109 inches (2768mm).

ScanApp Lei, included with the Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 MFP L36ei, sets scan directory and files types and can be run on up to 15 PC’s. Suggested specifications for a PC to run the TM-305 MFP L36ei are: Windows 7/8/10 – 32bit, GB Ethernet, Intel i3, i5 or i7 processors, 4 GB RAM, SATA 6.0Gbit/sec USB3 on the motherboard and SATA 6.0Gbit 7,200 rpm HDD controller. Scanning with the TM-300 MFP L36ei is secure, as the unique scanner model is supported by Scan App Lei only and scanning cannot be started remotely. Scan App Lei is available in English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Czech languages. The maximum number of supported imagePROGRAF printers is 15.

Network Modes for the scanner include Plus (default) and Standard. The Plus Network Mode uses full network capability and ScanApp Lei to improve functionality and productivity. Copy sends data via Ethernet to ScanApp Lei which acts as a print spooler to free up the scanner sooner. The Standard Network Mode prevents the scanner exceeding the network’s data rate capability. Copy uses on-board memory as a buffer, and then saves TIFF files only. Scan to PC uses on-board memory as a buffer before sending data via Ethernet to the ScanApp Lei. Scan to USB uses the ScanApp Lei to convert file types to PDF/JPG, and setting the correct date before saving to the USB stick. Scan to PC sends data via Ethernet directly to the ScanApp Lei to free up the scanner sooner.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 MFP L36ei feature updates to all core technologies, including the ink system, print head and mechanical platform. The 5-colour all pigment LUCIA TD inks are available in 300ml and 130ml sizes, and deliver improved print quality on plain paper and higher density clearer lines and text on uncoated paper with vivid colour expression. The new 6-channel, 1.07 print head optimises ink transfer and delivers 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution, and produces A1 draft prints in just 24 seconds and an A0 in 40 seconds. A compact 1289 x 887 x 1060 mm, the TM-300 Series slim-line design with a front-loading paper system, front access ink tank system, and front output means you can print and change paper and ink easily even when printer is installed in a tight space or flush against a wall. A large, bright, menu-driven LCD control panel gives easy access to sophisticated functions. The TM-300 MFP L36ei includes 2GB of physical memory with 128GB standard memory.

The TM-305 Series Printer driver supports SG Raster (Swift Graphic Raster), HPGL/2, HP RTL, and JPEG (ver. JFIF 1.02). The TM-305 Series Printer driver supports SG Raster (Swift Graphic Raster), HPGL/2, HP RTL, JPEG (ver. JFIF 1.02) and PDF (ver. 1.7). Free Layout Plus easily creates large-size prints of documents from familiar software like Microsoft Office. Extra-large posters can be made up by combining multiple printer-width prints. Direct Print and Share allows multiple files of different file formats to be efficiently printed with simple drag and drop operation. New features such as thumbnail preview and maximised window enhance operation efficiency and streamlines workflow of printing drawings.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 L36ei features the LUCIA TD 5-colour all pigment ink system which produces the sharpest, thinnest lines. Designed specifically for CAD, GIS, and Poster applications, a minimum line width of 0.02mm can be achieved with a range accuracy of +/- 0.01%. The LUCIA TD Ink system features a newly formulated MBK, which features high surface tension, eliminating feathering and generating crisp, sharp lines. Drawings can be precisely reproduced even on uncoated papers. LUCIA TD inks also create weather resistant prints, enabling outdoor viewing and easy handling of drawings. Enhanced reactivity between the LUCIA TD pigments and media components means pigments stays close on the media surface, allowing colours to be vivid, even on plain paper.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 MFP L36ei accepts roll and cut media with a thickness range of 0.07 to 0.8mm. The minimum print length is 203mm, and the maximum print length for roll paper is 18 meters, and cut sheet up to 1.6 meters. The maximum media roll diameter is 150mm. Borderless printing technology keep you more productive as there is no need for offline trimming and Auto Skew Correction enables unattended printing by automatically adjusting for any skew in orientation and feeds the paper/media correctly. The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-300 MFP L36ei includes a printer stand and multi-position basket, in the flat position it can neatly stack in the order of printing up to 20 sheets on A1, A2 landscape drawings.
